RLW ADVISES ON STAMP DUTY OBJECTION

Matthew Lynch led Redman Lynch Washington in advising an ASX listed company on a successful stamp duty objection. The objection, which relied upon a technical point in the Duties Act 2000 (Vic), required the compiling of evidence, the co-ordinating of experts and, ultimately, the lodging of a substantial submission. The, successful, objection resulted in the stamp duty assessed being reduced by more than $450,000.00 and a refund.
