RLW ADVISES PARTICIPANTS IN CHILDCARE SECTOR

Nicholas Redman and Paul Washington co-led Redman Lynch Washington in advising, nationally, numerous participants in the childcare sector, including:

• landlord – assisting a trust with the leasing of a newly constructed childcare centre;

• tenant – assisting a not-for-profit operator with the leasing of a newly constructed childcare centre;

• vendor – assisting a private company with the off-market sale of a childcare centre to a trust, with an ASX listed trustee;

• purchaser – assisting a private company with the on-market acquisition of a childcare centre;

• developer – assisting an incorporated joint venture with the acquisition of a greenfield site and, then, the entering into an agreement to lease and lease;

• operator – assisting a national operator with the review of and, then, variation to third party management deeds;

• financier – assisting a trust with creation of right of entry deeds and, then, the enforcing of those rights; and

• sponsor – assisting a private equity company with the provision of short-term funding to a childcare operator during the trading-up process of a centre.
